Last Friday, Chris and Mike from Clear Books headed up to Barton in Lancashire to attend the latest Shout Networking Joint Meeting.
Shout Network is a networking organisation for small and medium businesses, with regular networking events taking place throughout Lancashire. This joint meeting was a chance for all the local groups from within the county to get together at a central location, exhibit their businesses and meet other local business owners before hearing presentations from relevant business services.
Clear Books had the opportunity to exhibit at the event, and also presented a brief introduction to cloud accounting to all attendees. We had some great feedback for the presentation, and hope that all businesses present found it informative and useful.
There was a fantastic diversity of businesses represented at the event, ranging from accountants and lawyers right through to hypnotherapists, language schools and sailing trips. Clear Books was made to feel very welcome, and it was great to speak to so many interesting and friendly people.
Congratulations also to Steph Cowell from Reed, who won a Fortnum and Mason hamper in our prize drawer at the end of the event. The hamper is on its way to you now – we hope you enjoy it!
